Leading up to the big weekend, students voices filled up Clowes Hall during Yell like Hell. Kappa Kappa Gamma and Phi Delta Theta stood out with their performance based on the Broadway musical, “Aladdin.” The yards surrounding Greek Houses and Schwitzer all were filled with decorations, but Kappa Kappa Gamma and Phi Delta Theta took another title and won Lawn Decs, leading them to winning homecoming over all.

A parade filled with colorfully decorated floats, Broadway songs, and dancing lit up the streets around campus. Delta Gamma and Delta Tau Delta won best float with their Dr. Seuss theme. Butler alumni returned with their entire families amongst current students. A parking lot packed full of tailgaters showed that Butler’s campus was full of life. Although the Dolphins stole the spotlight from the Bulldogs during the football game, the energy of the crowd remained high. When Delta Tau Delta’s Taylor Clark and Kappa Kappa Gamma’s Sofia Valdivia were crowned King and Queen, it was a reminder of what homecoming is about: tradition, friendship, teamwork, and support.

…And its all about that Bulldog.
